The robo dwarf hamster is also referred as Desert hamster. It has its origin in Mongolia and Northern China. They often inhabit semi-arid places which have alit vegetation. They live in holes which have steep tunnel which range from 2-6 feet beneath the sand. When in the wild they are typically extraordinarily full of life in month Sep to Nov. They are the tiniest hamsters. There is often 3 sorts of robo dwarf hamsters

Robo dwarfs look as if to be they mainly resourceful in parsimonious in their water wants. They are actually capable of highly concentrating their urine so as to stay alive on a reduced amount of water consumption compared with other dwarf hamsters. Robo are well changed in desert life. They’re also less respondent to freezing temperatures. Nevertheless they’re very at the mercy of elevated temperatures. The hamsters are omnivorous ; they primarily feed on vegetables, grains, plants, and fruit. Although they feed on beef and insects in low quantities. Roborovski hamsters generally stay subversive during winter and survive this season by stocking and storing it in special food chambers in the tunnel in the warmer weather. They’re generally active during dusk and dawn.

Lt. Roborovski was the first make reports on robo dwarfs. This was at some phase in an expedition in Nan Shan in July 1894. The first one to study this sort of hamster in a zoo was zoologist Satunin, which was around 1903.

It was in the latter 1970s, when the Zoological Society of London got the Robo Hamster from zoo in Moscow. It was misfortunate that they did not breed the robo hamster.

Few of the EU countries were in luck in regard to breeding the Roborovskis dwarf hamsters which were imported from Russia. The Roborovskis which are in UK were bought by a dwarf hamster breeder who originated from Holland. He imported these types of hamsters in 1990 in the USA, the robo dwarf hamster were bought by a group in 1998.they were got from UK breeder. Roborovski dwarf hamster is reasonably scanty in the US.

There were tries to get the robo dwarf hamlets from Russia, but they have failed very due to stress or neglecting to reproduce.
Roborovski hamsters ( Phodopus roborovskii ) are the quickest and littlest of all hamsters. They can measure up to 2 to three and half years. Though, this is reliant on living arrangements of the hamster. In a zoo it can stay up to four years while in natural habitats it can stay up to 2 years. They are typically kept as pets.

Roborovski hamsters have been related with the development of asthma to owners who were previously was symptomless of asthma. Although research which have been done has shown that robo dwarf hamsters are ussually hypoallergic ( low percentage of causing allergic state ). Asthma is caused by antigens.

Roborovski hamsters are flexible, fast and glaringly timorous. Serious noises often stir up the hamster. They’re very fast and frolicsome. Robo dwarf hamsters infrequently bite off, this make them straightforward to tame compared with others pets.
