Dog Harness Training Tips
Make sure to know the things a trainer must consider before doing the dog harness training so that you will be successful during the training. The harness should make your dog comfortable and your 2 fingers should be inserted in between your dog’s body and the harness for allowance. This is important to know if the harness has been digging in your dog’s body that stops your dog’s blood circulation. Start the dog harness training by putting the harness on your dog with his leash attached to it. Allow your dog to get used in having a harness for several days. Then after, have your dog a walk holding the leash on loose. If your dog starts pulling against you, make your dog calm and let him walk at your side comfortably. As soon as your dog is already used of walking with you having a harness on his body, you can now say that you have successfully done the dog harness training.
To make your dog more controllable when both of you walk outdoors, you can do the dog harness training. A harness is a fabric that is wrapped on your dog’s chest for protection. This will help you avoid your dog from being pulled and suffocated by the collar being attached to your dog’s neck. Having a harness there is no need for you to worry if you will hurt your dog by pulling him for if a harness has been covered in his body, you can attached the leash to the harness and not to your dog’s neck anymore. Doing the dog harness training will make your dog be used to having a harness attached to his body and thus it will make him be more controllable to avoid other people and animals to be hurt when you and your dog went outdoors.
